DOUGLAS — Two
Arrested in Doris Worrell Homicide
DOUGLAS — On
Thursday, March 13, conspiracy to commit murder warrants were issued for
Glidden Humberto Rodriguez, 39, and Brandon Eugene Cage, 20, both of
Douglas, in reference to the homicide of Doris Worrell. Both subjects
were arrested in
Coffee
County
by Coffee
County deputies on Thursday and are in custody. The warrants are the
result of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Coffee County
Sheriff’s Office and the GBI Douglas Office after Doris Worrell was shot
and killed at Jon’s Sports Park in Coffee County on Sept. 20. At the
time of the murder, Rodriguez was employed at Jon’s Sports Park. The
investigation is still on-going and remains in an active status;
therefore no other details will be released at this time. If anyone has
